French term or phrase: inflation soutenue

I'm not sure whether I can use "sustained" in this context:

"Alors que les pays riches supporteraient une inflation légèrement plus soutenue, il en faudrait un peu moins aux pays émergents. "

While rich countries could stand a slightly more "soutenue" inflation, a little less would be needed for emerging countries.
