Central Registrar / Central Administration Explanation: Usually an "Academie" is an administrative umbrella for several universities: the "Academie de Paris", for example, includes at least 10 "Facultés", which are more or less independent universities on different campuses, usually with a focus on a particular discipline (like a university-sized version of our "Faculties"). This seems to be a slightly different sense, but it does look like this is a central administrative unit for tertiary enrolment and results over several regions (ie Paris, Creteil and Versailles). The central administrative unit in a university, for pretty much everything (including enrolment and results) is usually called the Registrar, but you could use either Registrar or Central Administration, and perhaps just "Enrolments" for the "Academie d'Inscription". |

DISTRICT FOR ADMINISTRATION PURPOSES Explanation: Hello, I believe that "académies" are "districts" (circonscriptions) This may the educational district to which this student belongs. "Gestion" may be referring to "administration." This may be a group of universities under one district for administration purposes. I hope this helps. |
