Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / test report
French term or phrase: accès enveloppe
Report on testing a power tool. A table in the "résultats d'essais" is headed "norme générique immunité en 61000-6-1 de 2001", and "accès enveloppe" in the second heading line. The table contains pass/fail results for the test "champ électromagnétique à fréquence radioélectrique modulé en amplitude" and the test spec includes field strength (in V/m), AM modulation, stated freq and modulation depth, freq range, using a specified antenna.
Does Accès enveloppe refer to the AM modulation envelope or the housing of the tool?
In a web search I've found "accès (enveloppe or connecteur)" but its' still not clear.
Thanks if you can help

enclosure port
Explanation:
Seems to be a valid term in immunity testing.
In addition to the links below which are: a) a definition and b) a sample use in a PDF (look at Tableau 1/ Table 1), see also:

2) http://www.smps.com/Knowledge/Standards/EN50082-1.htm
I think this is a very good example as it shows "enclosure port" used as a table heading (Table 1) with data somewhat similar to the fields you describe (take a look at the row headings)
Hope that helps!
