Seeking help with my translation of the last part of this:

Il est rappelé que le market timing est l’opération d’arbitrage consistant à tirer profit d’un écart entre la valeur comptable d’un OPCVM et sa valeur de marché, cette opération **portant atteinte à l’égalité de traitement des porteurs**.

I understand what it means, that 'market timing' type transactions constitute a violation of shareholders' rights... but was wondering whether the 'traitement' here was intendeded to mean 'treatment' as in their right to 'equal treatment' or whether it is meant in the sense of processing, i.e. processing of the order... not that it really matters overly, as it all boils down to the same, but do you see what I mean about the ambiguity?
