This shows up in the forum/game rules for a video game user portal I am translating. I have no idea what it means! I would appreciate the help. I have removed the word for the kinds of points that they use to prevent confidentiality issues.

neutral  Tony M: i wondered about the spelling too, but as they do use 'mots de passe' later in the sentence, I wonder if these aren't rather 'passes', you know, to get to another stage of the game, etc.?

  -> Quite right, Tony - I thought it meant real passes to start with, and then I got stuck on the "casino" bit and decided it was online gambling instead and therefore pass*words*. Duh.
