For those valuable, worthiness doesn't wait the number of years
Explanation:
Vers célèbres de Corneille (le Cid)

My opinion on this matter relies in one sentence that a french poet once said
"Aux âmes bien nées, la valeur n'attend pas le nombre des années"
which could be translated (without the poetical souding, sorry) into
"For those valuable, worthiness doesn't wait the number of years"

disagree  Mick De Meyer: what Angela said: "wait the number of years" is not something you would say in English. Sounds very translated.
