Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Instructions for setting up audit
French term or phrase: change control
This concerns a quality management audit for a cleaning process company, and comes in the section on Corrective and Preventive actions:
'Toute reclamation client (qualite) tout changement susceptible d'influer sur la qualite du produit ou 'change control' (modification equipement, fournisseur, CDC client...) et toute demande exterieure liee a l'environnement.'...etc (their inverted commas)
and
'Dans le cas d'un change control l'etude d'impact et information immediate du client'
It is not clear to me what this means.

English translation:change control
Explanation:
As the original is in quotes, it seems they are simply using the English term!

You can probably find plenty of definitions of this out on the 'Net, but my guess would be that it involves checking which aspects of their quality control process need to be reviewed whenever changes occur.

Thanks, Tony. It would appear that certain things that are quite meaningless to me, in English, actually do mean something after all.
