Can anyone help me translate this term? It comes up several times in a training course and I'd like to find something short and catchy rather than paraphrasing if I can.

Explanation below:

Idéalement, ces évaluations seront insérées à des moments propices de la journée, en réveil pédagogique (à l’ouverture le matin sur les thèmes abordés la veille) ou en début d’après-midi, moments peu favorables à un nouvel apprentissage.

They're referring to the best times of day (first thing in the morning or just after lunch) to test knowledge that should already be assimilated, rather than use these periods to try and teach something new. It's reveil as in "stimulate" to get back into the swing of things.
