French term

ESIP

French to English Bus/Financial IT (Information Technology) titles for personnel
This comes in a General Terms of Purchase contract for a software package under the people listed as forming a follow-up committee for the Company.
Context:
'Les représentants technique de l’Entreprise (DAIT Direction Achats Informatique et Télécoms) Chef(s) de projets ESIP si nécessaire'
(The only translation I have found, so far, for ESIP is 'Ecoles Superieur d'Ingenieurs de Poitiers', and I can't see how that would make sense, here!)

Yes, although I may not be meant to say that.

Context Is this in connection with a certain state-owned energy supplier?

Hi, I would include both - French and English translation. The English version might be Producer Information Systems Development. The link I gave has a few details on the tasks the ESIP unit looks after, so Maintenance instead of Development might also be used.
Note from asker:
That sounds a good suggestion, Laurence. With this kind of thing, I'd normally include the full French title and an English translation. Do you have a suggestion as to what this should be (or would you suggest omitting it)/
Peer comment(s):

agree Di Penney : That was what I was driving at with the discussion point above. Both DAIT and ESIP are used by EDF.
