French term

réquisition

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Warranty
"c) En cas de réquisition des biens sur lesquels porte l’assurance, dans les cas et conditions"

The warranty can be terminated in the above circumstance.

I have seen the various options in the glossaries but am still a bit lost.

Claim The answers were good, I just found "claim" to be better and clearer. Thanks to all.

The WARRANTY can be terminated? Are you sure it's not the insurance coverage (UK = cover) that can be terminated?
Conor McAuley (asker) Aug 9, 2011:
@Phil Consumer goods.

I'm with you, for me requisition in English doesn't sound right.

What goods are we talking about - some kind of consumer product? And doesn't it mean repossessed rather than requisitioned?
