Le taux retenu sera celui de la BCE majoré en l’état des évaluations de taux."

"increased so as to reflect current rate valuations"? The problem is that "évaluation" is something of a faux ami, often meaning "assessment". To me this little phrase might possibly make a little more sense if it were "majoré en l’état des évolutions de taux".

The second sentence doesn't seem to add anything to the previous one.
could it also be saying the following: "increased" is ECB +10 points i.e.:

The rate used will be this increased ECB rate reflecting current rates.

Asker: So you're considering there might effectively be a comma after "majoré", right? But it seems to me that "celui de la BCE" has not been increased. And on that reading (comma after "majoré") I am even more mystified by the words which follow "majoré"...

I prefer 'to augment' to translate 'majorer'

The idea is that a percentage pegged to current rates will be added to BCE rate

a est un percentage parce qu'il s'agit de trouver un autre taux d’intérêt

Dans ce texte, a est une function des taux d’intérêt courants.
