To be honest I always suffer with "sans objet".
This is a possibility - but certainly not the most elegant one.

Whatever you choose, it should fit the reason for the "sans objet": e.g. provisions recognised for claims brought by the transferee: due to the transfer, the claims disappear and so do the provisions.
"groundless" might be a better option.
