French to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general) / Order of the Tribunal de Grande Instance
French term or phrase:suppléments pour charge de famille en sus
This is from a French divorce court order, in the part warding maintenance in favour of a child:
Fix à 5.000 francs la contribution mensuelle que XXX versera à YYY d'avance pour l'entretien et l'éducation de l'enfant mineur, prestations familiales et supplêments pour charges de famille en sus, ladite pension payable même pendant les période d'hébergement.
There are no terms that are confusing me in themselves, but the usage of "en sus" is slightly unclear.
Does it mean that XXX pays 5000 francs per month in addition to the family allowances etc. that YYY receives from the State?
