I know you say you want to translate it, but do you need to?
If the French sentence you've given is what you're translating, the term is already followed by an explanation.
The names of courts are not normally translated in law reports and other legal documents because they have no exact equivalent in other countries.
If you really insist on translating it, I guess it has to be "cantonal patrimonial chamber", which is not very helpful. And most people, even those who spoke no French, would be able to work out what "chambre" and "cantonale" mean. Sometimes you can explain too much and insult people's intelligence. |
