Whislt I agree with Phil G. about a preliminary check of the glossaries, this is a chance to add another term that may 'decline' better in the context, albeit in 'non-Plain Legal English' that UK Law Reform Commissions and judges (misguidedly) rail against.

B D Finch: In this case, I think I'll agree with you about the (not quite) archaic term. I certainly don't think Phil's KOG ref. fits the bill, though "further to" would be an option, it's probably a bit too optional and vague sounding.
