My translation: In accordance with the avoidance clause, the Purchaser shall register ... shares in XXX and pledge the said shares to the Seller as collateral to guarantee restitution of the securities which are the object of this Contract and any new shares which may be attributed free-of-charge to the said shares or to the shares that would replace the said shares in the event of a regrouping or redivision of the shareholdings.

Can anyone confirm??? Thanks

'pure' registered shares

"nominatif pur" has two entries so far in the KOG, but continues to be a puzzling term. I'm entering the following information, albeit belatedly for this asker, in the hopes that it can be of some use to future users of the KOG (KudoZ Open Glossary). Take it for what it's worth:

LAGARDERE’s Articles of Association stipulate that its shares must be in the form of registered shares and they may either be ‘pure’("Nominatif Pur") or administered ("Nominatif Administré"), at the choice of the shareholder.

I have also found one instance where "purely registered" is used, but can't find any repetitions of that one. See: file/view/0,4245,1626_53424_123636239,00.pdf

Eurodicautom give "pure shares" but I'm having trouble locating any actual use of that term: most hits on Google are for "Aqua-Pure shares" and other brand names with "Pure" in them.

For other Google hits for "pure registered share" please see:
