French term or phrase: contrat à distance
This means a contract over the internet therefore not one signed by the hand of the two parties. I thought of "telecontract" but am not happy with it. Any suggestions???
Thanks

English translation:telecommuting contract; online contract
Explanation:
I use that exact word for my online translation services, and 'telecommute', 'telecommuting' is in fact quite a new word for services through the Internet.

Telecommuting service, online service

I don't know what other experts might suggest to you, but does not necessarily need be 'legal' terminology.

arm's length contract

Explanation:
Contract negotiated between two parties excluding favoritism and irregularity.

e-commerce agreement

Explanation:
The buzz-word for buying and selling on the Internet is "e-commerce", so assuming the contract is for goods and services, perhaps e-commerce agreement? (though Susan's "online contract" sounds a lot neater).

e-agreement

Explanation:
I like online contract, I find e-commerce agreement a little lengthy, so why not e-agreement? It's short, punchy and e- is an "in" term. I saw e-fulfillment on the Net the other day.

internet agreement or online contract

Explanation:
I like e-agreement, also. Whichever term you choose will depend on the tone of the rest of the document. If it's formal, I would use online contract; if it's semi-formal, internet agreement; if it's somewhat informal, e-agreement would be a good word to coin.
