normal range Explanation: I have not encountered this notation previously however it is common on lab results to post what the lab regards as normal ranges, taking in to account the method of analysis, specific analytic machines used, error margin etc. In the linked reference from the German speaking world (there listed under Folsäure) the normal range is listed as 3 -15 ng/ml which is in the same ball park.
