Pain score 6: non-verbal subject with multiple disabilities Explanation: EDD = expression de la douleur chez des sujets dyscommunicants. The EDD scale is a modification of the EDAAP scale (cf. Drmanu49's note), so I suspect A/P stands for Adulte Polyhandicapé here (assuming your patient is an adult)... The dyscommunicant bit (= "non-verbal" or "non-communicating") needs to be reflected here, cf in the English-speaking world there is the NCAPC (Non-Communicating Adult Pain Checklist) and NAAPC (Non-Communicating Children's Pain Checklist). But "non-verbal" is perhaps more usual. https://www.has-sante.fr/portail/upload/docs/application/pdf/2017-09/guide_handicap_etablissement.pdf |

Dynamic Pain Score: 6 active/passive Explanation: See discussion area. It seems that the hospital in question is the one which has issued a list of abbreviations in which "EDD" is identified as " Échelle dynamique de la douleur", which must correspond to dynamic pain score, and "A/P" is identified as "actif sur passif". I'm not quite sure what the latter means, so I've simply suggested "active/passive". http://extranetcemtl.cemtl.rtss.qc.ca/fileadmin/intranet/soi... |
