: The translation is correct but the examples are all wrong. DPT(DTP) has no polio, rather it has pertussis (coqueluche).

I am glad you agree. I am aware that the examples do not refer to polio. In my explanation in French, I mention to substitute pertussis for polio. This was also to make the point that the P may be misleading.

There exist both dT and DT vaccines, the dT having less diphtheria antigen than the DT.

There are several vaccines that incorporate both DT (and P) and polio. Usually the polio component is designated IPV (inactivated polio vaccine).
