Name of a mineral - it appears in a list of other minerals - sorry, there's no other context.

There is a mineral called 'orthoclase' in ENGLISH (the French term would be orthose). As far as I know, there is no such word as 'arthoclase' in either language (try a google search and you'll get zero results).

An 'orthose' (or 'orthoclase' in English) is also called a potassium feldspar or K-spar. It is translucent, white, gray, yellow, reddish or brownish.

The chemical name is potassium aluminum silicate (see first link below)
