French term or phrase: EP
This is one of a whole raft of abbreviations. Here's the context.

chaîne de mesure standard avec un test bilatéral, le coefficient d'élargissement Kp est égal à yyy;

EPR is the type of pressurised water reactor. ESS, could be the English acronym for environmental safety systems; STE could be Technical Operating Specifications or Technical Design Specifications; RRC could be Disaster Risk Reduction; I'm still trying to find out what PCC is; CIA, presumably, is not what most people think it is!

periodic/routine test
Explanation:
= essai périodique according to this report http://energie.edf.com/fichiers/fckeditor/Commun/En_Direct_C... I just googled some of the abbreviations + nucléaire. Same report has ESS as Evénement Significatif de Sûreté and STE as Spécifications Techniques d’Exploitation in case you were wondering. STE can also be (waste)water treatment plant.

No guarantees though, so client should confirm.
