signature loop

Vaughn, why this sudden blind faith in Google? We all know that the PRESENCE of a reference helps confirm, but the ABSENCE of one does not preclude the existence of a term.
I promise you this IS a standard term, albeit referring to a technique that is not all that much used (or at least acknowledged) --- and it certainly DOES seem to have originated Stateside, though I have come across it in the UK too.

: Any term (I'm speaking of the French) that gets narry a single google is very "specific" ;-)) This may indeed be the French for a Yank term, but I'm not aware of it. Dusty's perhaps coined another one - perhaps he should do a management book? ;-))
