Explanation:
The original text as quoted contains two grammatical/spelling errors; correct:
"cet interessement" and "exploitation du gisement"

"bonification" is either an experience refund or simply a discount; the term by itself implies the technical results.
But you speak of an "experience refund ( or discount) based on recovery"

Since the full text is not available, suffice to say that these terms can applied to assurance contracts in mining.

Article 22 bis

Lors de la passation du contrat d\'association en matière d\'exploitation d\'un gisement découvert, sont pris en considération dans la détermination de l\'intéressement de l\'associé étranger, les versements opérés au titre des droits d\'entrée et/ou cash bonus, ainsi que les coûts et risques financiers et techniques qu\'à dû prendre en charge l\'entreprise nationale pour la découverte du gisement objet de l\'association et, le cas échéant, pour son exploitation.

Cet intéressement est fixé en fonction de l\'effort financier et technologique consenti par l\'associé étranger pour l\'exploitation dudit gisement ou en vue de la bonification de la récupération.

L\'entreprise nationale et l\'associé étranger peuvent convenir que tout ou partie des montants visés au titre des droits d\'entrée et/ou cash bonus, soient considérés :

soit comme montants non récupérables à titre de remboursement tel que prévu à l\'article 22.2 de la loi n°86-14 du 19.08.1986 modifiée
soit comme montants récupérables à titre de remboursement tel que prévu à l\'article 22.2 de la loi n°86-14 du 19.08.1986 modifiée. Dans ce cas, les conditions et modalités de récupération de ces montants seront définies dans le contrat d\'association\".
La récupération par l\'associé étranger, des versements susvisés s\'effectue sous norme de déductions intervenant lors de la mise en oeuvre des dispositions de l\'article 22.2\". (Décret législatif n°93-18 du 29.12.1993)
