Translation on offer is:
In the closed position, valve 12 cooperates sealingly with the inner male body 4 at a seat 46 of the inner male body 4 formed by a reduction in the diameter of the inner duct 42.

"coopère" appears regularly and i`m not happy with cooperate but unsure whether this is normal "patentese".
Confirmation or otherwise would be appreciated.
