"1 temps, 2 temps, combiné et alternatif"

These are four different variations of the "pas de patineur" (skating step) used in cross-country skiing. Context is the contents of the course leading to the "3ème Etoile" qualification awarded by the ESF in Europe. The "pas alternatif" is the "diagonal stride" or "diagonal step", and I presume that "combiné" is "combined", but I am stuck on the other two terms... Can anyone help? There's a very good explanation of the terms in FR at http://www.haute-savoie-nordic.com/ski-nordique/ski-nordique... - but I a cannot find EN equivalents. NB - "1 temps" does not appear to be the same thing as "pas de un", which I have seen translated as "one-skate"...
