IN MY OPINION, TRONCONAGE HERE IS BETTER TRANSLATED BY CROSS-CUTTING WHICH INCLUDES 'TRANSVERSALE' CUTTING AND IS MORE RELEVANT TO THIS AREA (WHICH I BELIEVE IS RELATED TO WOOD OR METAL CUTTING).

My opinion only though :)
