French term

USEI

French to English Tech/Engineering Telecom(munications)
The context is France Telecom:
"France Télécom souhaite centraliser l'hébergement de ses sites Intranets au sein des USEI." I've found the meaning of the French acronym (unité de supervision et exploitation informatique) but wonder what the English equivalent is.

Selected

telehousing centre/data centre/hosting centre

All of these terms tend to be used in the industry in various forms e.g. webhosting centre etc. The only question here is whether the USEI is dedicated to web hosting only or whether a more generic term would be better e.g. data hosting centre

seems like data centre is the term used by BT for managed services (which is what USEI implies). See BT site www.bt.com

supervision unit and computer operation

I would keep it as such and add the translation as a footnote
