Foi isso que entendi: aquele tipo de cliente que entra num estabelecimento, deambulando, sem ter uma ideia firme do que vai comprar (ou porque simplesmente está mesmo só a admirar), e que responde "obrigado, estou só a ver".

Não sei se existe um termo consagrado em português. É mais uma sugestão com base na interpretação.
