Simplemente doy otra posibilidad. Estoy de acuerdo con quien opta por "banco": "Asiento, normalmente de madera o de piedra, con o sin respaldo, y en el que pueden sentarse varias personas". Diccionario del español actual. Manuel Seco.
Aunque en el mismo diccionario una de las acepciones de "banqueta" que se recogen es la siguiente: "Banco corrido y sin respaldo".
