Estoy traduciendo una guía de viajes de varias ciudades y me ha aparecido un par de veces la expresión «vivre / mettre à l'heure». Por ejemplo:

Bali
«Pour vivre à l'heure des Balinais, dégustez l'île à travers ses spécialités:[...]».

Sídney
«Se mettre à l'heure australienne, c'est profiter des terrasses de Sydney, de ses musées [...]».

Entiendo lo que quiere decir, pero no se me ocurre una manera creativa de traducirlo. ¿A alguien se le ocurre algo?

Coincido contigo en no traducirlo de forma literal. Yo lo dejaría como:
- "Para estar al día en Bali / "a la balinesa"...
- "Para estar al día en Australia / "a la australiana"...
