Accident report of a helicopter crash in a canyon. Aircraft hit canyon wall about 2/3 of the way down.
Theories about the cause of the accident:
"a) si l'appareil était en virage à droite au moment du 1er impact, dans la mesure où la vitesse doit être importante proche de la VNE (soit environ 70 à 75 mètres/sec) pour rencontrer, sur ressource après le "plongeon" dans le canyon, la réversibilité servo, puisque la paroi semble assez rectiligne, même si le pilote avait relâché le collectif à temps."
