French term or phrase: Je vais a la plage parce que le guignol est chouette!
(it's from a 311 Song called "Salsa")

I'm warning ya
Je vais a la plage parce que le guignol est chouette!
I kick nonsense in French tasty like Crepe Suzette
Jennifer
English translation:I go to the beach for the nifty/neat marionette
Explanation:
The above is a suggestion for how to modify it to rhyme.
Guignol is a particular marionnette character local to Lyon, a modest, hard-working, and irreverent silk worker. It has become a generalized term for all marionnettes and puppets, and also by extension to a funny person and to acting like a clown (this could also be the meaning intended).

Chouette is a slang term similar to cool or neat.

"chouette" = "terrific"; ...

Explanation:
"guignol" can refer to a puppet show in general, or to the classic Punch and Judy show, in particular. In this context it might refer to the theatrical aspects and social dynamics of the "beach scene" as a whole.

Cheers, HC

coquette

Explanation:
I will do my best to get the rhyme:

I'm warning ya
I'm heading to the beach
to watch the pretty little puppet "coquette"
I kick nonsense in french tasty
like crepe suzzete

Ex: Unlikewise "chouette", "coquette" is a world famous french expression just like "crepe suzette". Here, I took it into consideration as the imaginary name of the referred puppet, giving it, in addition, a feminine caracterization. I reckon this is evreything but a literal translation. However, It seems to be faithfull to the original spirit (with no harm to the meaning)of the french expression.

Regards and good luck,
Élcio

Explanation:
With a bit more poetic licence, I can assure you that the French kids (I have two of 3 and 5) adore "les guignols" who I safely say have their Enlgish equivalent in the traditional Punch and Judy shows. Both are hand/glove puppets and they are collectively referred to as "les guignol" although "Guignol" is in fact the central character of the bunch. If your audience is English then with a bit of poetic licence you could go for "Punch and Judy Show" with no problems.

Try this in your song :

I'm warning ya
Going down to the beach where the Punch 'n' Judy's really neat (to rhyme with beach)OR great (to go with Crepe Suzette)
I kick nonsense in French tasty like Crepe Suzette
