Explanation:
drink,beverage are industry related terms
"potion" like in love potion keeps its magic, poetic value
this is old french, they also used "philter" in the field of romance

Potion

Explanation:
The word probablmy is breuvage in French.

IT could also be beverage (more neutral), but potion is better for in poetry there is a magical connotation

drink

Explanation:
You would share the poem with us, wouldn't you? At least a few lines to give us some context.

In the absence of context, "drink" is well nigh a shot in the dark, but, who knows, it may help.

drink

Explanation:
Hi,

The only explanation I can think of is that this is a misprint for "breuvage", which is a drink, or beverage.

It is an old word used for poetic effect, or can also have magical connotations (potion magique).

brew, beverage, potion

Explanation:

if it is alcoholic then you can use the word "brew"

if not I suggest using the word "beverage".

if it has a poisonnous content then use the word "potion"

beverage

Explanation:
Are you sure the word is not "breuvage" rather than "bruevage"? You could also possibly translate by drink. Good luck!
