Unusual Nineteenth Century rich red needlepoint hanging with religious figure clothed in lace and jewels. The borders are grape leaves and grapes in needlepoint. The hanging is framed with antique French metallic trim and metallic fringe. Velvet back with pocket for hanging.

All tapestries have either sleeve or small... bars sewn onto the back or loops attached to facilitate hanging.
