English translation:Letter from Delphine
Explanation:
The spelling is poor, so I am reading between the lines:

I was very happy to hear from you. I wanted to tell you that I miss you very much and that I keep like a prized possession the chain with the rose that you gave my sister. Life without you is sad and difficult but I am waiting. Your work is not too tiring. I did my communion and got lots of money and gifts. It was nice, and I felt closer to God!

Kisses,
Delphine
