French to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary
French term or phrase:zwaner
I am afraid I can't help you out with context here. I have seen this word in a magazine. Thank you.
Explanation: the Larousse Grand Dictionnaire Francais-Anglais spells this word "zwanzer" (with two Z's) in the verb form ("to joke"), and gives "zwanze" as the noun ("joke"), attributing both words to Belgian usage.
(Offered after the fact, for whatever help it might offer.)
