French term or phrase: chargement contre compte
Is this simply "charge on account" - I'm confused by the use of "chargement", which has the sense of loading. Can anyone pls confirm or otherwise?
Thank you.

Don't know if this fits your broader context, but it does explain how *chargement* fits in an accounting sense (from LGDT):

To further anchor the concept, here is a similar explanation, in the area of Insurance (also from LGDT):

Domaine(s)
assurance
prime d'assurance

loading (a)
An amount added (as to the net premium in insurance) to represent business expenses, future contingencies, or profit. (b)

chargement n m (a)
Somme à ajouter à la prime pure d'une assurance pour pourvoir aux frais d'acquisition et aux frais généraux de l'assureur, plus un certain bénéfice. (a)

I am also giving you a URL demonstrating usage of *account loading*
