French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial
French term or phrase: en cours
I know en-cours means outstanding debt or liabilities, but I'm not sure how to translate it in the following. Also I don't think "in the process of" for "en cours du" fits either.
"Remarketing: Evaluer le materiel (perte/gain potentiel); rechercher des informations cles (cote FNTP, en cours du dossier NI)."
Thanks in advance, Karen

English translation:(matters) oustanding
Explanation:
L' encours de crédit = credit oustanding for example.

L'en-cours de production = semi-finished products, work-in-progress

Thus "l'en cours du dossier" means whatever is outstanding on this particular file, and whatever it is may well be known to you, if not, then "matters oustanding" might fit the bill.

I suspect a typo. I think it should read "encours".
