French term or phrase: actifs cantonnes-- fond dedies
A description of a software package for financial institutions: "Description fonctionelle: Conforme aux reglementations des societes d'assurance, reassurances, mutuelles, caisse de retraite, institutions de prevoyances, holdings, actifs cantonnes-- unites de compte, fonds dedies, multisupports.

In this sentence, I can't figure out what "actifs cantonnes" means. Is it something like "limited assets" or "confined assets?" Any ideas on "fonds dedies"? could it be "allocated funds?"
I'm guessing that "multisupports" is "multimedia?"

Also, I wasn't sure about "institutions de prevoyances" does this mean "contigency companies" or does this phrase not even exist in English? Sorry for so many questions at once but they were all in the same paragraph!!
