In so far as a request to be delivered can be said to be an order, you might be able to go as far as referrign to it as an order. I wonder indeed why "commande" has not been used? Perhaps you should just stick to 'delivery request' or 'request for delivery'. IS there a possibility that the word 'appel' infact refers to a telephone order??? Nikki |

call-off (order) Explanation: This may well be what is known as a call-off or call-off order. A customer places a general order for a large amount of goods to be supplied in stages over a period. Each time the customer requires a batch of goods, it places a call-off for that amount, which is supplied and the amount deducted from the total order quantity. |
