French term or phrase: contrat de cession
closing contract or transfer contract? (the second seems more appropriate
Glen McCulley
Local time: 03:43
contract of disposal, transfer
Explanation:
Usually this would be required to be in the form of a deed. Unfortunately, without more context as to the precise nature of the contract, it is difficult to be decide which specific term is appropriate.

In my past experience, "cession" is generally a transfer, it may also be a licence. "Concession" is generally an assignment. It all depends on your context!

It might be helpful for you to check out both words on LGDT where you will no doubt find the term which works best for you.
