French term or phrase: cooperateurs
I'm not sure if "partners" is the right word in this context. This is a document describing a venture capital fund that invests in high-growth companies. The word appears twice: 1) "Pourquoi sommes-nous cooperateurs?" followed by statements by company executives about their goals and what they have to offer. 2) Cooperateurs: Membres actuels du Comite Executif. Thanks, Karen

Explanation:
Cooperatives have their own corporate structure and terminologie.

Here is what the Ménard has on "coopératives" and on the role of the "coopérateurs":

COOPERATIVE
COOPÉRATIVE
Gestion.

Thanks very much for your suggestion and research. As it turns out, the venture fund's "commandite" is a limited liability cooperative. So "member" seems to the right term.
