French term or phrase: engagement déontologique
concerns work ethics for a recruitment agency

English translation:Professional ethics
Explanation:
I second Ludovici's explanation. This term has come up a number of times on ProZ, French>English, and *professional ethics* has been the translation of choice. I first saw this discussed on the Lantra list, by the way, a couple of years ago. And, as a side note: I mentioned to a colleague/friend of mine, a philosophy professor, that the French word, *déontologie*, had such widespread applications that it even covered secretarial courses on proper
office behavior. She thought that was hilarious!!!
