Explanation: http://www.proz.com/v3/index.php3?sp=h_a&sid=&id=60105 Unfortunately you have not provided much context about the type of work this employee is/was doing. 1 - Might it not be referring to a special type of classification of the post occupied by the employee concerned? Was the person in a temporary post? If so then one of the EuroDicAutom's suggestions might work, viz., "cadre spécial temporaire (CST) = temporary special programme". 2 - If it is referring to a classification for statistical purposes, however bizarre this may seem, then perhaps the folllowing might work (EuroDicAutom again): Classification statistique et tarifaire pour le commerce international; CST Statistical and Tariff Classification for International Trade; CST 3 - It might just be the name of a pension fund into which the contributions are being paid, although I cannot find any such fund by that name on the web – which does not mean that no such fund exists, of course ! 4 – Or could it be the name of the employer ? CST : CS télécommunications which have been in « redreesement judiciaire » since April 2001… Is more context available ? |

CST Explanation: The more I think about it, the more I think that "cadre spécial temporaire" is probably right. There are so many contributions and payments into funds which have to be paid by both employers and employees, various premia which are paid because a person is doing a temporary job for example. It sounds highly likely that this chap is/was working on a short-term (fixed-term) contract and that this is one of the pension contributions to be made. It should probably be left as is, ie "CST retirement contribution" |
