I confirm that the Acronym corresponds to Fond National pour l'Aide au Logement.
Like other contributions indexed on workers' pay, it is calculated on the yearly income according to "Tranches", TA standing for "tranche A". If somebody has enough income, then some of that income falls in "Tranche B" or "C", thus the TOT for total.
By the way, in an answer on "ASF", I indicated to you the slices of income was 0 to 1, 1 to 3 and above 3 time the SS ref. yearly salary, but I was a little behind schedule, it is 0 to 2, 2 to 4 and 4 to 8 time that ref. salary for TA,TB and TC.

Fonds National d'Aide au Logement


Explanation:
La loi N° 71 - 582 du 16 - 7 - 1971 a créé une allocation de logement en faveur des personnes âgées, des handicapés physiques et des salariés de moins de 25 ans aux ressources modestes.

A cet effet un Fonds National d'Aide au Logement ( FNAL ) a été institué pour centraliser les cotisations perçues par les URSSAF . Le fonds est géré par la Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.
