Paul Sadur
Local time: 14:45
English translation:corporate bodies, internal structures
Explanation:
I agree entirely with BUZZY. "sociaux" can only have the meaning of "corporate" here, as in "société" relating to the company. If your text provides you with the information as to which structures are concerned ehre, then you could of course refer to them by name, as Buzzy has indicated, Board of Directors for exmaple, if they are the ones establishing corporate policy matters - which sounds pretty likely.

If you try a straightforward websearch for "organes sociaux", you will find that many of the pages you can then consult - and do consult them! - refer to the internal structures of a given company or group of companies.

Here are one or two examples :

http://www.urssaf-lille.fr/juridique/fjlexique.htm

Corporate is the right adjective as opposed to "social" in this context. I was looking for an all-inclusive term for Board, Oversight Committee, Management, etc. Some texts in English on corporate governance use "board" for the whole lot, but this doesn't seem very clear to me.

Board of Directors and Supervisory Board

Explanation:
.. or whatever you have decided to call the boards in English.
I think this is what it means, after all who else fixes the amount of dividends? and (after checking) I would name the bodies in question. One thing is sure though, they are internal to the company, that's the "sociaux" as in "de la société" (company, not society at large).
