Bus/Financial
French term or phrase: notes d’opérations
Un point central d’information serait ainsi créé sur les sociétés faisant appel public à l’épargne (documents de référence, notes d’opération, communiqués).

Any help with "notes d’opération" would be appreciated.

Thanks!

English translation:prospectus
Explanation:
Difficult, since there is no direct equivalent in other countries' systems. The 'note d'opération' is a document filed to the authorities in conjunction with stock exchange operations e.g. listing of new shares. It is usually a much smaller document than a full prospectus, and warns its readers that it should be read in conjunction with the most recently filed 'document de référence' - normally identical to the annual report. If translated, the term is most often rendered as 'prospectus'.

Although I did not use "prospectus", your explanation was very helpful. As it turned out, the client wanted me to use "securities note" with the French in ("").

Thanks to all for your help!

(apologies for the duplication, it's the first time I've posted an answer, and omitted the peer comments)
