French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / purchasing/inventory
French term or phrase:lieu du burinage
I can not find a definition for the term "burinage" in a business context. I only find this term in an automotive, printing, or construction context. And as such, "chipping" or "chiseling" doesn't seem to make sense to me, here. The thing is, I'm not sure what type of item they are talking about, whether it is a computer software program or something else. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.
... validation automatique des fonds disponibles et nécessaires à la commande en fonction du code comptable et capacité d’inscrire des instructions spéciales dans la commande (ex.: lieu du burinage de l’article).
..it's anything to do with purchasing or the software application per se, it is quite quite literally "where the item being ordered is burine" - and if you don't know exactly what it is that this company does/makes, I can see you have a prob.
From the snippet, I get the impression that the answer will depend precisely on what type of "article" (item?) is being ordered, "burinage" being a concrete example of the type of special instructions that can be attached to such an order. I don't think..
