Thanks for the response, but I don't think that it means "reminder" here - I think NewCal and Sarahl are more along the right track. Also I would not exactly use the term "chase up". I had found "follow up" but wasn't quite sure about that one, either.
Explanation: In case of non compliance he contacts/calls to/chases up the supplier to obtain complete satisfaction. The following up of the recieved but incomplete orders is done/carried out by the orderer.
